Score! (Yarn this time)

I shouldn't browse eBay. I was looking for pink and blue cotton yarn for the hospital baby booties project and I found some.

And then some.

That blue spool reminded me that I've always wanted to try making those dishcloths to see how they work and give away to friends and whatnot. So why not buy in quantity?

So I bought this:

Plus, 4th of July is coming up and red-white-and-blue yarn could come in handy.

It all came today.

Good thing I brought my rolling backpack to work almost empty.

I bet you will LOVE making and using the cotton dishcloths. I love mine and they are one of my go-to gifts for housewarmings and such. It's so easy and zen to make up a mindless granny square out of variegated and the results are simplistically super. Everyone has raved about them. Have fun!

I never dreamed a dishcloth could be zen. zen is good. go-to is good too. I can't wait. Just as soon as I finish my UFOs and my next four or five projects....

Hello again dear!!!
I'm sorry, I thought you were buying the cottons for dishcloths and the like. I hope you are not as disappointed as you sound.
Anywho, here's a site I like to get some of my patterns from.

I agree with you, buy in Quanities! Much better because then you always have some on hand. Peaches & Creme yarn is my favorite for making dishcloths. I am in the process of making a couple of places mats out of this yarn and I just love it. You totally scored on this one!
